A heavy as hell tribute to some of the best music ever to grace the ears of video game fans. The tracks are all recognizable while still putting their own spin on each song. Matt Poulter

An even more polished take on Final Fantasy music than Gaia's Bane, this album breathes some great life into more obscure tracks from the franchise's history. Matt Poulter

A fantastic selection of covers arranged in a number of extreme forms of metal, KOTR on top form with this album. From the perspective of both a metal fan and a Final Fantasy fan, this album excites and intrigues from beginning to end. BlackearacheXD
Another scorcher from the phenomenal one-man black metal outfit STARER, with mind-flaying riffs and eerie tremolo-picked melodies. Bandcamp New & Notable Jul 31, 2023

Outstanding instrumental metal album that happens to pay tribute to FFVII. While some of the songs would pretty clearly lend themselves to great metal covers (Bombing Mission, The Chase, Let The Battles Begin), I was most impressed by how much some of the deeper cuts (eg. Mako Reactor) came to life as ripping headbangers.
There’s not a weak track on here and the chronological arrangement further complements my enjoyment of the album. Highly recommended. Lloyd James
